About the role

The Signage Fabricator and Installer builds, assembles, and safely mounts indoor and outdoor custom signs, architectural structures, and vehicle graphics. They work with a wide range of materials—like metal, acrylic, wood, and LEDs—and ensure every finished product is securely installed according to engineering and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Fabricate custom signs by cutting, welding, bending, and assembling materials like aluminum, acrylic, and PVC
• Install various signage including channel letters, lightboxes, pylon signs, dimensional letters, and vinyl graphics
• Read layout and technical shop drawings to determine precise dimensions and material needs
• Wire electrical parts for illuminated signage, including LED modules, transformers, and low-voltage wiring
• Operate shop equipment safely, including power tools, laser machine, vinyl cutters, welders, and saws
• Conduct site surveys to assess installation surfaces, structural support, and electrical hookups
• Drive and operate specialized vehicles like boom trucks, bucket trucks, scissor lifts, and scaffolding

About you

• Proven experience in signage fabrication, commercial installation, woodworks, or metal welding
• Strong mechanical skills and proficiency with handheld power tools, drills, and hardware fasteners
• Basic electrical knowledge for wiring and troubleshooting illuminated signs
• Physical stamina to lift heavy materials (up to 50+ lbs), climb ladders, and work comfortably at heights
• Comfort working outdoors in varying weather conditions and standing for long periods
• Valid driver's license with a clean record; a commercial driver's license (CDL) or crane certification is a strong plus
