FABRICATION STAFF
Job description:
Fabrication staff are responsible for the fabrication process of a product or service. Ensures that all steps in the fabrication process are completed correctly and on time, while also ensuring that quality standards are met throughout the entire process.
Responsibilities
- Accepts Job Orders as endorsed
- Reading and understanding product schematics and assembly instructions
- Verifying dimensions and product specifications
- Ensuring that all required parts for assembly are present
- Confirm that all parts are properly fitted, aligned and screwed in
- Report and detail product malfunctions
- Check measurements and dimensions of each piece that’s being worked on with rulers, measuring tapes or squares
- Review instructions, drawings and other specification papers before starting work on a fabrication process and during steps to ensure accurate completion
- Mark spots to cut or use tools to manipulate steel, plastic or other materials by cutting, hammering, bending or grinding the work piece
- Performs fabrication-related tasks using appropriate tools and equipment such as:
- Welding, build up letter, stainless, acrylic, sintra, wood frame, wiring, painting, etc.
- Ensures proper handing and economical use of fabrication materials
- Joins fieldwork and is assigned to do actual installation of fabrication materials
- Installation of the following materials/item
- Signages, stickers, lamp post, booth, billboards, wiring, etc.
- Manual Cutting
- Sintra, wood, acrylic, metal, stickers, cladding and etc.
- Performs tasks assigned by the Operations Supervisor
Qualifications and Skills
- Proven work experience on similar role
- Proficiency in operating heavy machinery
- Excellent eyesight and color vision
- Good dexterity
- Attention to detail
- Good organizational skills
- Relevant training and/or certifications as a Fabricator
