Hammerjack Pty Ltd is seeking a Senior Technical Consultant / Infra Ops Specialist to manage and optimize enterprise infrastructure operations with a focus on ServiceNow Service Mapping and ServiceNow ITOM. The role aims to improve service visibility and reliability while supporting hybrid operations for global stakeholders.

The candidate will drive mappings, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and ensure data quality and stable day-to-day operations in a hybrid work environment.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience configuring ServiceNow Service Mapping.
• Experience with ITOM discovery and event management.
• Ability to translate complex infrastructure into clear service models.
• Strong collaboration across cross-functional teams in hybrid environments.
• 8–12 years in enterprise operations.

Responsibilities

• Drive design and implementation of ServiceNow Service Mapping to create accurate service models.
• Optimize ITOM capabilities to enhance infrastructure monitoring and event management.
• Coordinate with owners and teams to collect configuration and dependency data for comprehensive maps.
• Maintain mapping patterns and discovery configurations for data quality.
• Monitor daily operations via ServiceNow dashboards to identify trends and remediation needs.
• Collaborate with incident and problem management to improve root cause analysis.
• Establish operational standards for ServiceNow ITOM usage and data hygiene.
• Support change management by validating service maps with deployments and retirements.
• Analyze KPIs from ServiceNow reports to recommend infrastructure optimizations.
• Coordinate with security/compliance to ensure data adheres to policies.
• Guide teams on effective use of Service Mapping and ITOM features.
• Document runbooks so day-shift teams can support infrastructure without disruption.
• Contribute to continuous improvement by evaluating new ServiceNow features.
