Job summary

Unit4 is seeking a Senior ServiceNow Developer to design, build, test, and support scalable ServiceNow solutions across ITSM, CSM, HRSD, and related modules. You will implement integrations via REST, SOAP, and webhooks, and drive automation with Flow Designer, Now Assist, and Virtual Agent.

The role partners with the ServiceNow Practice Lead and other teams to ensure secure, maintainable platform capabilities.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience developing and supporting ServiceNow solutions.
• Advanced knowledge of JavaScript, APIs, Flow Designer, Integration Hub, ServiceNow Studio, or App Engine Studio.
• Experience with ITSM and at least one additional ServiceNow product (CSM/HRSD/SPM/App Engine).
• Experience with Now Assist, Virtual Agent, or other ServiceNow AI capabilities.
• Proven experience building integrations using REST, SOAP, and webhooks.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, configure, test, and support ServiceNow applications and workflows.
• Build and enhance solutions across ITSM, CSM, HRSD, SPM, CMDB, App Engine, Now Assist, Virtual Agent, and more.
• Translate business requirements into scalable, secure technical solutions.
• Develop integrations with enterprise systems using REST, SOAP, Integration Hub, webhooks, import sets, and transform maps.
• Create workflow automation using Flow Designer, Business Rules, Script Includes, Client Scripts, Service Catalog.
• Support adoption of Now Assist and AI-enabled workflows with proper controls and testing.
• Promote standard functionality and reusable solutions, minimizing customization and technical debt.
• Perform code reviews, automated testing, release validation, and troubleshoot complex platform issues.
• Support platform upgrades, production deployments, documentation, and handover.
• Mentor other developers and contribute to strong engineering standards.
• Identify opportunities to improve UX, automate manual processes, and deliver measurable business value.

ServiceNow is a strategic enterprise platform at Unit4 , supporting internal operations, employee and customer services, workflow automation, and our wider digital transformation agenda. As a ServiceNow Developer , you will be responsible for designing, developing, integrating, testing, and supporting secure, scalable, and maintainable solutions on the ServiceNow platform. This is a hands‑on senior technical role. You will work closely with the ServiceNow Practice Lead, business analysts, architects, business owners, and other development teams to translate business requirements into effective platform solutions. You will also contribute to technical standards, development quality, platform stability, and the continuous improvement of our ServiceNow capabilities.

What you will do

Requirements

• Strong hands‑on experience developing and supporting solutions on the ServiceNow platform.
• Advanced knowledge of JavaScript, APIs, Flow Designer, Integration Hub, ServiceNow Studio, or App Engine Studio.
• Experience with ITSM and at least one additional ServiceNow product, such as CSM, HRSD, SPM, or App Engine.
• Experience with Now Assist, Virtual Agent, or other ServiceNow AI and automation capabilities.
• Proven experience building integrations using REST, SOAP, webhooks, or equivalent technologies.
• Good understanding of ServiceNow architecture, data models, scoped applications, ACLs, security, and development best practices.
• Experience with code reviews, testing, release management, platform upgrades, and production support.
• Ability to translate business needs into practical technical solutions and explain technical concepts clearly to different audiences.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, collaboration, and communication skills.
• Experience working in Agile or Scrum delivery environments.
• Professional proficiency in English.
