Job summary

The role requires strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to perform heavy work safely and efficiently. You will diagnose faults in hydraulic components, disassemble and repair parts, perform preventive maintenance, and operate equipment for field service or shop tasks.

Responsibilities

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Service Technician to oversee the maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of hydraulic machinery and system components. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical aptitude, diagnostic expertise, and the physical stamina required to perform heavy mechanical work safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

Diagnostics & Troubleshooting:

• Inspect, test, and diagnose mechanical and electrical malfunctions within hydraulic system components (including pumps, valves, cylinders, motors, solenoids, and controls).

Maintenance & Repair:

• Disassemble damaged or worn hydraulic components.


• Repair or replace faulty parts, reassembling units strictly to precise manufacturer specifications.

Preventive Maintenance:

• Perform routine maintenance checks, fluid analysis, filter changes, and system flushes to prevent equipment failure and maximize machinery lifespan.

Mobility & Operations:

• Drive and operate equipment as needed for field service or shop operations.

Qualifications & Special Requirements

• Driver's License: Must possess a valid Professional Driver’s License with codes A, A1, B, B1, B2, C, D (or equivalent authorized vehicle codes).


• Experience: Proven experience in hydraulic assembly, mechanical repair, and system diagnostics.

Physical Requirements

• Candidates must be fit and capable of meeting the following physical demands of the job:


• Strength & Lifting: Ability to exert pushing/pulling force and lift heavy equipment components.


• Mobility & Posture: Excellent stamina for prolonged standing, working in awkward or tight positions, climbing, and maintaining balance.


• Dexterity & Motor Skills: Fine motor control and strong hand/arm strength for delicate component handling and heavy tool operation.


• Sensory & Visual Acuity: Strong depth perception, clear focus, and color vision (essential for identifying fluid condition, wiring, and precision component alignment).
