Job summary

SANY Group is seeking a Heavy Equipment Technician in the Philippines to carry out maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on excavators, cranes, loaders, and related machinery. The role requires strong knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems for heavy equipment.

Field service and training customers may be involved. The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of experience in heavy equipment maintenance and repair, with hands-on hydraulics, diesel engines, and electrical systems,

Qualifications

• Vocational/Technical course graduate in Mechanical, Electrical, or related field.
• At least 2 years of experience in heavy equipment maintenance and repair.
• Hands-on experience with hydraulics, diesel engines, and electrical systems.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, diagrams, and schematics.
• Skilled in troubleshooting and problem-solving for large machinery.
• Physically fit and willing to work in field/site conditions.
• With a valid driver’s license is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, maintain, and repair heavy equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance according to manufacturer guidelines.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues.
• Conduct equipment testing, adjustments, and calibrations.
• Keep detailed service reports, records, and parts usage logs.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and company procedures during all work.
• Coordinate with service teams and customers for equipment servicing schedules.
• Assist in equipment commissioning and training customers on basic operation and maintenance.
