Select Goods is seeking a dedicated and skilled Service Technician to join our team in Paranaque City, Metro Manila. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in delivering exceptional after-sales support and maintenance services to our valued customers. As a Service Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of products and equipment, ensuring that our customers receive prompt and professional service. This role is essential to maintaining customer satisfaction and supporting Select Goods' reputation for reliability and quality service.

What you'll be doing

• Diagnose technical faults and issues in customer equipment and products using appropriate diagnostic tools and techniques
• Perform preventive maintenance and routine servicing to ensure optimal equipment performance and longevity
• Repair or replace faulty components, parts, and systems according to technical specifications and manufacturer guidelines
• Respond promptly to service calls and requests from customers, maintaining a professional demeanour and excellent customer service standards
• Document all service activities, repairs, and parts replacements accurately and thoroughly for record-keeping and warranty purposes
• Provide technical guidance and advice to customers on product usage, maintenance and troubleshooting
• Keep abreast of new product developments, technical updates, and service procedures relevant to the equipment you service
• Maintain a clean and organised service vehicle and workspace, ensuring all tools and equipment are properly maintained and accounted for
• Collaborate with other team members and departments to resolve complex technical issues and ensure timely service delivery

What we're looking for

• Technical qualification or certification in a relevant field (electrical, mechanical, electronics, or equivalent trade qualification)
• Proven experience as a Service Technician or in a similar hands-on technical repair and maintenance role
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues
• Proficiency in using diagnostic tools, testing equipment, and standard hand tools
• Knowledge of electrical systems, mechanical components, and electronic circuitry as applicable to the products serviced
• Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused approach to service delivery
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively while meeting service schedules and deadlines
• Physical capability to perform manual tasks, including lifting, bending, and working in various environments
• Valid driver's licence and willingness to travel to customer locations as required
• Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining accurate service records and documentation
• Willingness to undertake ongoing training and professional development in technical skills and product knowledge
