Job summary

Bayfield Equipment Corporation is seeking a field service technician to perform on-site diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance for construction and road machinery. You will prepare reports, assist with commissioning, and coordinate with parts to access components.

The role requires traveling to sites, strict safety adherence, and ability to work with limited supervision. You will join a technically skilled team and contribute to high customer satisfaction through reliable service and proper use

Qualifications

• Graduate of Automotive Technology, Mechanical Engineering, or another related field.
• At least 2 years of experience in heavy equipment service or construction machinery.
• Knowledge in hydraulics, electrical/electronic systems, and diesel engines.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and service manuals.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Willing to travel and work in field assignments.
• Holder of a valid driver’s license is preferred.
• Willing to be assigned in Maduya, Carmona, Cavite.

Responsibilities

• Perform on-site service, diagnose, and repairs for construction and road machinery.
• Carry out preventive maintenance and machine inspections following established industry standards.
• Diagnose and determine root causes of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic system issues.
• Prepare and submit detailed service reports, including required parts and labor estimates.
• Assist with the commissioning, installation, and start-up of new equipment.
• Coordinate with the Parts Department to ensure timely access to necessary components.
• Support Service Engineers during field operations to troubleshoot and calibrate machines with proper diagnostic instruments.
• Adhere to safety protocols and maintain cleanliness and organization in work areas.
• Participate in technical training programs to enhance product knowledge and service skills.
• Deliver reliable and efficient service to ensure high customer satisfaction.
• Keep tools, diagnostic equipment, and company assets in proper working condition.
