Job summary

GMC is looking for a Service Engineer (FDM2 E&M – Electrical) in Cebu to oversee maintenance and reliability of electrical systems. You will implement preventive maintenance programs, diagnose issues, and ensure safe operations in a manufacturing setting.

Ideal candidates are Registered Electrical Engineers with at least 3 years in industrial plant maintenance, familiar with motor controls, and willing to work rotational shifts and extended hours when necessary to keep production running

Qualifications

• Must be a Registered Electrical Engineer (REE) with at least 3 years of relevant work experience.
• Experience in Industrial Plant Maintenance.
• Knowledge of motor controls and electrical maintenance.
• Willing to work rotational shifts and extended hours when required.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and execute preventive electrical maintenance.
• Ensure electrical equipment remains in optimal operating condition.
• Maintain a safe working environment and ensure worker safety.
• Identify and resolve electrical maintenance issues promptly.
• Organize activities according to plans and priorities.
• Provide sound technical decisions and practical solutions.

Are you a Registered Electrical Engineer with strong industrial plant maintenance experience? Join GMC as a Service Engineer and help ensure the reliability, safety, and efficiency of our electrical systems and equipment.

What You’ll Do

Safety

• Champion and promote Safety First in all activities and operations.
• Identify and call attention to any violations or deviations from established safety practices.
• Ensure welding, elevated work, confined space activities, and other hazardous work are covered by properly accomplished Hazardous Work Permits.

Delivery, Quality & Cost

• Plan, organize, and execute an effective preventive electrical maintenance program.
• Ensure electrical equipment remains in optimal operating condition.
• Maintain a safe working environment and ensure employee safety is never compromised.
• Identify and ensure the immediate and effective resolution of electrical maintenance issues.
• Organize activities and personnel according to established plans and priorities.
• Provide sound technical decisions and practical solutions whenever needed.

What We’re Looking For

• Registered Electrical Engineer (REE).
• Preferably with at least 3 years of relevant work experience.
• Preferably with experience in Industrial Plant Maintenance.
• Extensive knowledge of motor controls and electrical maintenance.
• Strong organizational and coordination skills.
• Good communication and active listening skills.
• Ability to make sound decisions and troubleshoot technical concerns effectively.
• Willing to work rotational shifts.
• Willing to work extended hours when required and able to perform effectively under pressure.
• Safety-conscious, proactive, and solutions-oriented.
