Job summary

ConnectOS is seeking a WordPress-focused developer to build and optimise websites for multi-location clients. You will implement templates, improve performance, and manage plugins, caching, and deployments across staging and production.

You will audit sites, diagnose issues, and apply SEO best practices, collaborating with the marketing team to align builds with SEO goals. The role requires 4+ years in SEO/digital marketing and experience handling multiple client accounts in an agency setting.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4+ years in SEO, digital marketing, or a related role.
• Experience managing multiple client accounts in an agency, MSP, or multi-client environment.
• Strong SEO fundamentals: keyword research, on-page, and technical SEO.
• Experience with GA4, Google Search Console, and Google Ads campaigns.
• Hands-on WordPress management, updates, optimization, and basic troubleshooting.
• Agency environment experience serving Australian, US, or international clients.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Build, maintain, and optimise WordPress sites for multi-location service businesses.
• Develop templates, layouts, and scalable page structures.
• Improve site speed, responsiveness, and performance.
• Configure plugins, caching, and integrations; fix bugs and server issues.
• Audit sites to identify technical issues and performance limits.
• Diagnose root causes and decide between repair, improvement, or rebuild.
• Apply technical SEO principles and align with SEO goals.
• Suggest ideas to improve traffic, rankings, and user experience.
