Job summary

Digital Pie in Angeles, Philippines, is seeking an experienced Zoho CRM specialist to lead our CRM practice end to end, from scoping with clients through to delivery. You will mentor CRM staff, collaborate with the dev team on Claude Code and Laravel builds, and design integrations that connect Zoho to AI tools and client systems.

This on-site role emphasizes hands-on development, solution architecture, and a senior point of contact for complex CRM work across time zones.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on Zoho CRM experience, including real implementations.
• Experience leading projects and mentoring others, across time zones.
• Strong Deluge scripting and workflows/automation.
• Proven experience integrating Zoho CRM with REST APIs and webhooks.
• Development experience in PHP/Laravel, plus Git and DB design.
• Experience building MCP servers or API-based integrations for AI tools.
• Familiarity with Zoho One ecosystem (Projects, Analytics, Desk, Books).
• Comfortable with Node.js or Python for lightweight services and connectors.
• Excellent communication and self-directed, problem-solving ability.

Responsibilities

About Digital Pie

We're a New Zealand-based digital agency going through an exciting pivot. Alongside our core website, hosting and Google Ads services, we're growing fast in CRM, automation and AI. We help businesses implement, automate and get real value from Zoho CRM, and we're now building our own custom applications and AI integrations on top of it. As an authorised Zoho Partner and a member of the Claude Partner Network, we work with clients across a range of industries.

We're a team of around 20 people split between New Zealand and the Philippines. We work hard, move fast and enjoy what we do.

The Role

We're looking for an experienced Zoho CRM specialist to lead our CRM practice. You'll own CRM projects end to end, from scoping with clients through to delivery. You'll also guide and mentor the people working on them.

This role goes beyond configuration. We're building a custom application using Claude Code and Laravel, along with MCP servers that connect AI tools to Zoho and our clients' systems. We need someone who can take the next step from Deluge and workflows into hands-on development. You'll work with Blair and our dev team on these builds and bring the CRM expertise that holds them together.

What You'll Be Doing

• Leading Zoho CRM projects from discovery through to go-live, and making sure they're delivered on time and to standard
• Mentoring and supporting CRM staff, including reviewing builds, sharing knowledge and helping them grow their Zoho skills
• Building our custom application with the dev team, using Claude Code, Laravel and the Zoho APIs
• Building and maintaining MCP (Model Context Protocol) servers that connect AI tools like Claude to Zoho and the other platforms our clients use
• Designing CRM solution architecture and working out what belongs in Zoho and what needs custom code
• Building custom modules, layouts, workflows, blueprints and Deluge functions
• Connecting Zoho CRM with third-party platforms via REST APIs, webhooks and Zoho Flow
• Documenting what you build so clients and the team can manage it going forward
• Being the senior point of contact for clients on complex CRM work, including scoping, training and troubleshooting

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years of hands-on Zoho CRM experience, including real implementations rather than just administration
• Experience leading projects and mentoring or managing others, including delegating, reviewing work and giving feedback
• Strong Deluge scripting and solid experience with workflows, blueprints and automation
• Proven experience integrating Zoho CRM with other systems using REST APIs and webhooks
• Practical development experience in PHP/Laravel (or a similar modern framework), plus Git and database design
• Experience building MCP servers or API-based integrations for AI tools, or a strong interest in learning fast
• Comfortable with Node.js or Python for building lightweight services and connectors
• Hands-on experience with AI coding tools such as Claude Code, or a strong drive to work this way
• Familiarity with the wider Zoho One ecosystem (Projects, Analytics, Desk, Books)
• A clear communicator who's comfortable working with clients and a team across time zones
• Self-directed: able to scope a problem, make the call and get it done

• Experience building and shipping a SaaS or custom web application
• Agency experience
• Data migration and CRM onboarding experience
