Job summary

Bold Business is looking for a highly experienced Wired Network Engineer to lead a network modernization project across 600+ retail locations in the Philippines. This role requires over 7 years of experience in network engineering, with expertise in Viptela SD-WAN and Cisco IOS-XE technologies. The ideal candidate will manage network designs, troubleshoot performance issues, and enhance configurations remotely. The position is fully remote with an initial contract of 3 months, extendable based on performance.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of hands-on network engineering experience in large-scale enterprise environments.
• Proven network design and architecture experience in multi-site environments.
• Deep expertise in Viptela SD-WAN.
• Strong proficiency with Cisco IOS-XE routing and switching.
• Understanding of WAN architectures and routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP).
• Ability to execute implementation with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Lead and execute network upgrades across 600+ retail sites.
• Design, validate, and refine enterprise network architectures.
• Implement and optimize configurations on Viptela SD-WAN and Cisco IOS-XE.
• Troubleshoot WAN connectivity and performance issues.
• Provide technical guidance to junior engineers.
