Job summary

New Era Technology is seeking a Network Engineer to deploy, configure, and maintain modern WAN and edge connectivity across diverse environments. You will work remotely, providing expert guidance to field technicians during installations, cutovers, and troubleshooting.

The role requires 4-7+ years in data networking, strong Cisco SD-WAN and Meraki experience, and solid knowledge of routing, VPNs, and security. Collaboration and clear documentation are essential for success.

Qualifications

• 4-7+ years hands-on data networking experience on large-scale projects or deployments.
• Strong hands-on with Cisco Catalyst SD-WAN: vManage, policy control, routing.
• Experience with Microsoft desktops and mobile devices.
• Solid experience with Cisco Meraki MX, MS, MR.
• Experience with Cradlepoint NetCloud ecosystem.
• Understanding of routing protocols (OSPF, BGP), TCP/IP, VPNs, security.
• Experience with distributed environments and remote site connectivity.
• Excellent communication and documentation abilities.

Responsibilities

• Deploy, configure, and support Cisco Catalyst SD-WAN (vManage, vEdge/cEdge).
• Configure Cisco Meraki environments across MX, MS, MR.
• Implement and support Cradlepoint routers with NetCloud Manager.
• Integrate LTE/5G and satellite connectivity into designs.
• Provide real-time remote support during installations and troubleshooting.
• Assist with live deployments, validation, and issue resolution.
• Support multiple customer networks with prioritization and clear comms.
• Ensure adherence to SLAs, standards, and security requirements.
