Job summary

Vena Energy Services (Australia) Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced contracts professional to support utility-scale renewable energy projects in the Philippines, based in Makati. You will coordinate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to ensure contract preparation, negotiations with EPCs, and robust documentation.

The role emphasizes risk assessment, local and international regulatory compliance, and timely project delivery with a focus on safety and quality across on-site operations.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in contract management for utility-scale renewable energy or power projects.
• Engineering and/or business‑related educational background.
• More than 10 years of experience in EPC contract management and negotiation.
• FIDIC certification or equivalent training in Contract Management is required.
• Strong expertise in Contract Management with in‑depth knowledge of EPC, PPA, and O&M agreements.
• Familiarity with utility‑scale wind and solar projects.
• Working knowledge of project management tools, FIDIC templates, and project implementation insurances.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively within cross‑functional teams.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparation of Contracts and participate in contract negotiations with technical and legal teams.
• Ensure compliance with local and international legal requirements and maintain organized records.
• Support permitting and jurisdictional approval processes for construction phases.
• Handle contract management and negotiation with EPC, PPA, and O&M agreements.
• Review EPC contractor schedules, budgets, scope, and subcontracts for compliance.
• Coordinate with EPC contractors and vendors to meet contract terms within budget and timeline.
• Lead compilation of legal letters and responses with accurate factual and contractual basis.
• Participate in on-site inspections to ensure safety and quality standards.
• Lead project status meetings with utilities, EPCs, off-takers, and financiers.
• Organize and file all project documentation in SharePoint for internal and external stakeholders.
