Job summary

Jobgether is seeking a Senior QA Engineer (Web) to own testing strategy for web features from hand-off to production release. You will lead functional, exploratory, regression, UI/UX, cross-browser, and API testing with collaboration across Product, Front-End, Back-End, and Architecture.

The role is fully remote in an international environment, with opportunities to contribute to test automation using Playwright, Cypress, or Selenium, and to improve QA processes and metrics while ensuring

Qualifications

• Strong QA methodology and software testing lifecycle knowledge.
• Experience testing modern web apps with client-server architecture.
• Cross-browser and responsive testing across major browsers and viewports.
• Experience with browser DevTools and proxies for debugging.
• API testing with REST/GraphQL and test data preparation.
• Familiarity with Jira/Allure/Git; Playwright/Cypress/Selenium is a plus.
• Basic scripting in JS/TS or Python is a plus for tooling.
• Strong attention to detail, time management, and communication.

Responsibilities

• Drive QA for features from hand-off to production release, ensuring stability and UX.
• Review specs, define tests, and create comprehensive test plans and checklists.
• Estimate testing efforts and deliver QA work on schedule.
• Execute functional, exploratory, regression, UI/UX, cross-browser, and API testing.
• Validate web apps across browsers and devices; ensure responsive behavior.
• Perform API tests using REST/GraphQL and validate backend behavior.
• Support automation initiatives and contribute to coverage with Playwright, Cypress, or Selenium.
• Maintain test docs and participate in code reviews for automation.
• Collaborate with Product, Front-End/Back-End engineers, Architects, and stakeholders.
• Assist production releases with smoke and regression testing and monitoring.
