Job summary

Jobgether is seeking a senior QA engineer to own testing strategy for web features, from hand-off to production release. You will conduct functional, exploratory, regression, UI/UX, cross-browser, and end-to-end API testing, collaborating with Product, Front-End, Back-End, and Architecture teams.

You will help establish test coverage, identify defects early, and contribute to automation and QA metrics in a fully remote, international team. Fluent Russian and English are required.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in QA methodology, test design, and defect management.
• Experience testing modern web applications with client-server tech.
• Cross-browser and responsive testing across major browsers.
• Experience with Postman, REST and GraphQL for API testing.
• Familiarity with Jira, Allure TestOps, and Git.
• Experience in Playwright, Cypress, or Selenium is a plus.
• Basic scripting in JavaScript/TypeScript or Python is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail, problem solving, and communication.
• Fluent Russian and good English required.

Responsibilities

• Drive QA from hand-off through production release, ensuring quality.
• Review specs, identify testing requirements, and create test plans.
• Estimate testing efforts and commit to timelines.
• Execute functional, exploratory, regression, UI/UX, API tests across browsers.
• Validate web apps across Chrome, Safari, Firefox, Edge, and mobile viewports.
• Perform API testing using REST and GraphQL with test data.
• Support test automation initiatives with Playwright, Cypress, or Selenium.
• Document tests, review automation code, and participate in peer reviews.
• Collaborate with Product, Front-End, Back-End, Architects.
• Support production releases with smoke and regression testing.
