MediCard Phils., Inc. is seeking an experienced IT Production Support Level 3 (L3) Web Applications Support Engineer in a hybrid setup in Makati.

You will provide advanced production support, troubleshooting, development support, and operational leadership for enterprise web applications, APIs, middleware, and backend services. The role requires expertise across frontend and backend technologies, databases, cloud infrastructure, integrations, and DevOps practices, along with strong stakeholder

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, Software Engineering, ECE or equivalent.
• 5–8 years of experience in Web Application Development and Production Support.
• 3–5 years supporting enterprise web applications.

Responsibilities

• Act as L3 escalation support for critical web application incidents and outages
• Lead technical bridge calls during high-priority incidents and coordinate resolution activities across teams
• Perform comprehensive root cause analysis and develop sustainable preventative solutions
• Support and maintain enterprise web applications, portals, APIs, and backend services
• Troubleshoot frontend, backend, database, integration, and authentication issues
• Diagnose database performance issues and optimize application interactions
• Proactively identify service degradation risks and system vulnerabilities
• Coach and mentor junior support engineers (Application Support Level 2)
• Create and maintain operational documentation, support runbooks, and troubleshooting guides
• Lead technical review sessions and lessons-learned workshops
