Job summary

DAI Post Philippines is seeking a Senior Web and Mobile App Developer to lead the design and delivery of iOS, Android, and web applications for our freight and logistics network. You will shape the delivery approach, architecture, standards, and tooling, working alongside a core system built on C# and .NET and hosted across AWS and Microsoft Azure.

The role combines hands-on delivery with technical leadership, partnering with analysts, designers, and mentoring developers to lift capability

Qualifications

• Six or more years delivering production web applications, including two or more years delivering mobile applications released to the Apple App Store and Google Play.
• End-to-end delivery of iOS and Android applications, native or cross platform, including release management and post-release support.
• Working proficiency in C# and .NET for the APIs and services that support web and mobile clients.
• Experience with cloud-hosted applications on AWS or Azure, CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing.
• Secure coding practice, modern authentication and authorisation patterns, and careful handling of personal information.
• Accessibility practice to WCAG 2.2 Level AA and to Apple and Google platform accessibility guidance.
• Clear written and spoken English, and a demonstrated record of mentoring developers.
• Establishing a mobile platform from first build through to store presence and enterprise distribution.
• Offline-first design, and use of device capability such as location, camera, and barcode scanning.
• Transport, logistics, or field‑workforce application experience.
• Mobile device management and enterprise application distribution.
• Effective use of approved AI-assisted development tooling.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and delivery of iOS, Android, and web applications across the platform.
• Shape delivery approach, architecture, standards, and tooling for the mobile platform.
• Mentor developers to lift capability across the team and collaborate with analysts and designers.
• Work with the Lead Software Developer and cross-functional partners to ensure end-to-end delivery.

The Senior Web and Mobile App Developer leads the design and delivery of DAI Post’s new iOS and Android applications, and of the web applications used by customers and operational teams across the freight and logistics network.

This is a foundational role. DAI Post is building its mobile platform from the ground up, so the role shapes the delivery approach, architecture, standards, and tooling that will carry the platform forward, working alongside a core system built on C# and .NET and hosted across AWS and Microsoft Azure.

The role combines hands‑on delivery with technical leadership, partnering with the Lead Software Developer, analysts, and designers, and mentoring developers to lift capability across the team.

Appointment is subject to satisfactory background and reference checks.

Working Arrangements

• Full‑time role based in the Philippines, with an agreed daily overlap with Australian Eastern time.
• DAI Post managed device, multi‑factor authentication, and approved development tooling are required.
• Occasional release or support activity outside standard hours, by prior agreement and in line with applicable entitlements.
