Job summary

You will examine tax documents, determine taxable income and deductions, apply applicable laws, evaluate refunds, and compile audit reports for CPAs. Training on US taxation issues will be provided.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• CPA or equivalent preferred.
• Intermediate Excel skills.
• At least 4 years work experience in accounting.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Able to interact with all levels of management.

Responsibilities

• Examine and analyze tax documents and financial records.
• Determine taxable income, applicable tax deductions, and nontaxable expenses.
• Apply federal, state, and city tax laws and regulations to auditing procedures.
• Evaluate for any applicable tax refunds.
• Compile and present detailed tax audit reports to the client.
