Job summary

Connext is seeking a Senior Tax Accountant to manage US tax compliance, monthly close, and financial reporting. The role requires hands-on US accounting experience, including Forms 1120 and 1065, and interaction with external CPAs to ensure timely tax filings and accurate records.

The ideal candidate will oversee multi-state sales/use tax returns, payroll tax reconciliation, and support for audits and leadership with ad hoc financial analysis.

Qualifications

• CPA or equivalent credential required.
• Bachelor's degree in accounting/finance or related field.
• Experience with US tax forms and multi-state filings.

Responsibilities

• Own the monthly close process with accruals and reconciliations.
• Prepare US accounting statements and lender reports on time.
• Manage payroll tax and multi-state tax filings.
• Coordinate with auditors and respond to audit requests.
• Maintain tax filing calendar and documentation.
