Konektao Global BPO Corporation is seeking a detail‑oriented US Tax Specialist to support tax compliance, reporting, documentation, and filing activities for a US‑based client. You will handle federal, state, and local tax requirements, including indirect taxes and informational filings.

We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced US Tax Specialist to support tax compliance, reporting, documentation, and filing activities for a U.S.-based client. This role will assist with federal, state, and local tax requirements, including indirect tax, informational filings, tax records maintenance, reconciliations, and audit support.
The ideal candidate has hands‑on experience with U.S. tax processes, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work with accounting and finance teams to ensure accurate and timely tax‑related deliverables.
Assist in the preparation and review of U.S. tax filings and supporting schedules.
Support federal, state, and local tax compliance requirements.
Prepare or assist with indirect and informational filings, such as sales tax, gross receipts tax, excise tax, 1099, and other applicable filings.
Maintain accurate tax records, documentation, and trackers.
Reconcile tax‑related accounts and investigate discrepancies.
Assist with tax provision, estimated tax payments, and related reporting requirements.
Coordinate with internal finance, accounting, and operations teams to gather required tax data.
Respond to tax‑related inquiries and assist with notices from tax authorities.
Support audit requests by preparing documentation and schedules.
Monitor deadlines and ensure tax filings and payments are completed on time.
Maintain confidentiality and accuracy when handling sensitive financial and tax information.
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
At least 2–3 years of experience in tax, accounting, or finance, preferably supporting U.S.-based clients.
Experience with U.S. tax compliance, indirect tax, sales tax, 1099 filings, or related tax processes is preferred.
Strong understanding of accounting principles and tax documentation requirements.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets.
Experience with accounting or ERP systems such as QuickBooks, NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, Sage, or similar tools is a plus.
Strong analytical, organizational, and problem‑solving skills.
High attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
Comfortable working remotely and following U.S. time zone schedules.
Experience working with U.S.-based companies or international clients.
Familiarity with state and local tax requirements.
Experience handling tax notices, reconciliations, and audit support.
Background in bookkeeping, general accounting, AR/AP, or GL support is an advantage.
