Job summary

Scrubbed is seeking an Accounting Staff - Senior Level with extensive US payroll experience to manage end-to-end US payroll operations alongside commission bookkeeping. This role handles calculating wages, deductions, and compliance with high accuracy and confidentiality.

Responsibilities include accounts payable/receivable, inventory analysis, month-end journals, payroll processing, GL reconciliations, and reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting is required.
• 3–4 years of experience in payroll/accounting, preferably in BPO.
• 2–3 years direct US payroll processing experience.
• CPA preferred.
• Proficient in payroll software and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Accounting & Financial Reporting.
• Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processing.
• Inventory analysis, month-end journals, and closing adjustments.
• Monthly financial reporting and payroll accounting.
• Bank and GL reconciliations; identify risks and document findings.
• Payroll Processing: full-cycle payroll for employees, including overtime, bonuses, retro pay, and terminations.
• Set up and manage deductions and benefits (e.g., 401(k), health benefits, FSA/HSA).
• Ensure adherence to FLSA and multi-state/local payroll tax rules; reconcile quarterly taxes and year-end W-2 processing.
• Generate GL payroll reports for accounting and assist payroll audits.
• Commission bookkeeping: calculate and post journal entries for sales commissions.
