Job summary

Teradyne in Cebu, Philippines is seeking a Sr. Systems Administrator to manage and secure its global Unix/Linux infrastructure, focusing on high availability, cyber resiliency, and platform modernization across Red Hat, HP-UX, and Solaris.

You will collaborate with security and engineering teams to address findings, implement best practices, and lead complex infrastructure initiatives in a large-scale, global environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, IT, or related field, or equivalent experience; 5–8 years Unix/Linux admin experience.
• Certifications in Red Hat, HP-UX, Solaris are highly desirable.
• Hands-on experience with Red Hat, HP-UX, Solaris, VMware, DNS, LDAP, NFS, SAN/NAS, CyberArk, and security tools.

Responsibilities

• Ensure long-term Unix/Linux server operations with capacity planning and lifecycle management.
• Design and optimize Unix environments to support design/manufacturing tools.
• Create and maintain standardized server images for servers, engineering systems, desktops, and test platforms.
• Remediate vulnerabilities and implement system hardening standards.
• Perform root cause analysis, incident resolution, patch management, and continuous improvement.
