Qualifications

• 5–8 years of Unix/Linux systems administration experience, preferably with Red Hat in a large global enterprise.
• Certifications and formal training in Red Hat, HP-UX, and Solaris are highly desirable.
• Hands-on experience with a broad set of enterprise technologies and cybersecurity tools is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Ensure long-term Unix/Linux server operations through capacity planning, upgrades, storage, memory, networking, and lifecycle management.
• Design, implement, configure, and optimize Unix operating environments to support design/manufacturing tools; maintain runbooks and architecture diagrams.
• Remediate vulnerabilities, implement system hardening standards, and improve security posture; perform root cause analysis and patch management.
• Serve as a key technical resource for Red Hat, HP-UX, and Solaris platforms with sustained support coverage in Cebu time zone.
• Maintain disaster recovery procedures and operational documentation.
• Collaborate with security, application, and infrastructure teams to address security findings and enable continuous improvement.
