Senior UK Accountant – Multi-Entity Close & Consolidation

Job summary

Hammerjack Pty Ltd seeks a qualified accountant to own the offshore UK month-end close, group consolidation, and preparation of statutory, VAT and tax packs for UK review, while line-managing the Junior Accountant (AP/AR).

You will lead multi-entity close, reconciliations, intercompany eliminations and support audit work, with strong Excel and ERP experience (Syspro preferred). Office-based in the Philippines, Monday to Friday, with UK GMT timing.

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant with UK GAAP/FRS102 statutory accounts experience.
• Strong month-end close, consolidation and reconciliation experience across a multi-entity group.
• Experience preparing VAT (MTD) and corporation tax computation packs, and working with external auditors.
• Confident with Excel and working within an ERP accounting system.

Responsibilities

• Run the UK month-end timetable and coordinate receipt of Malaysia's results for consolidation.
• Prepare UK month-end journals, accruals, prepayments, provisions and correction journals.
• Produce monthly management accounts and departmental reporting for the UK business and global sales.
• Prepare intercompany transactions and eliminations; reconcile intercompany balances.
