Job summary

Macquarie Group is seeking a senior professional to lead user access management controls within the Central Controls team. You will oversee daily operations, build senior stakeholder relationships, and drive collaboration across teams.

You will also mentor and develop team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement in a global financial services environment.

Qualifications

• 6+ years’ experience in non-financial risk or related discipline with IAM expertise an advantage.
• Proven experience leading a team and managing workflows.
• Strong analytical skills to derive actionable insights.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication, especially with senior stakeholders.
• Strong problem-solving, mentoring and coaching capabilities.
• Experience using AI tools, automation and data transformation; SailPoint IIQ or similar platforms an advantage.

Our Central Controls team supports effective user access management across our Commodities and Global Markets business. We work closely with stakeholders to maintain strong controls, manage risk, and support a positive service-focused culture.

What role will you play?

You will lead user access management controls operations, helping to ensure controls remain effective and compliant across all streams. You will oversee day-to-day team operations, build strong relationships with senior stakeholders, and support collaboration across teams.

In addition, you will develop team members and encourage continuous learning and improvement.

What You Offer

• 6+ years’ of experience in non-financial risk, operational risk management or a similar discipline, with user access management or identity and access management expertise an advantage
• Proven experience leading a team, including managing workflows, operational priorities, and delivery
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify insights and turn them into practical outcomes
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence and engage senior stakeholders
• Strong problem-solving, decision-making, mentoring and coaching capabilities.
• Experience using AI tools, automation, data analytics and data transformation, with SailPoint IIQ or similar platforms an advantage
