Job summary

Arup in Manila is seeking an experienced Transport Planner to lead concept planning, assessments and design of transport infrastructure, coordinating with Southeast Asia teams and project stakeholders.

You will liaise with clients and LGUs, ensure high-quality deliverables, and contribute to regional bids. A strong background in GIS, transport modelling tools, and data-driven analysis is essential, with English and Tagalog proficiency and willingness to travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; Master’s preferred.
• 5-7 years of experience in traffic and transport planning, incl. public transport and multi-modal planning.
• Proficiency in GIS and transport modelling tools (Cube, Vissim, EMME, Synchro).
• Strong Excel skills; VBA/Python experience an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Undertaking concept planning, assessment and design of transport infrastructure.
• Supporting visioning, strategy development, policy evaluation, and action plans for transport master plans.
• Conducting public transport assessments, service and operating plans, and TIAs for proposed developments.
• Contributing to regional bids and proposals with clients and LGUs.
