Job summary

Arup is hiring a senior Transport Planning Lead to grow our Manila practice, providing technical leadership and strategic direction for transport planning projects in the Philippines and SEA. The role focuses on delivering ADB and World Bank funded initiatives with local government agencies and developers, while leading and mentoring the Manila team.

You will drive proposals, nurture client relationships, and supervise concept planning, traffic impact analyses and master plan design for roads,

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Transport Planning, Transport Engineering, Urban Planning, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
10–15 years of relevant traffic and transport planning experience including traffic analysis, policy assessment, design, and surveys.
Experience leading or contributing to ADB and/or World Bank funded projects, preferably in the Philippines and Southeast Asia.

Responsibilities

Provide overall leadership and day-to-day management of the Manila Transport Planning team, including resourcing and oversight.
Drive business development by applying international best practices and building client relationships.
Liaise with clients, government agencies and funding institutions as a trusted advisor.
Serve as a senior specialist on projects as leader, project manager, or senior designer.
Oversee concept planning, assessment and design of transport infrastructure including roads, buses and rail.
Conduct traffic impact analyses for proposed developments and circulation studies.
