Job summary

SYSTRA Philippines is seeking transport planning professionals with experience in developing transport infrastructure projects both locally and internationally. The role supports consulting activities, delivering on project objectives with flexibility and adaptability.

The candidate will analyze data, conduct surveys, assist in transport models, and prepare reports and presentations for diverse projects. Strong communication, planning, and English skills are essential.

Qualifications

• BSc in Civil Engineering major in Transportation Engineering.
• Masters degree is an advantage.
• Proficient in demand modelling software.
• Proficiency in English.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to build rapport.
• Time management and planning skills.

Responsibilities

• Analyze data from statistics, surveys and transport studies.
• Plan and manage transport/traffic surveys and process data results.
• Assist senior transport modeler consultants in the preparation of transport models.
• Simulate and forecast transport demand scenarios using computer modeling software.
• Analyze and forecast the impact of new and planned developments on a proposed transport project.
• Analyze a proposed transport project's impact on the overall transport network.
• Prepare technical reports, studies and presentation materials for various projects.
• Participate in the internal planning of technical requirements, budgets and timeliness for new/prospective projects of the company.
• Initiate and participate in meetings, presentations and site visits/data collection as needed.
• Participate in value methodology workshops, as needed; and
• Perform other related tasks that may be assigned by the manager and/or management.
