Job summary

SGV/EY in the Philippines is seeking a Senior Associate for Transaction Diligence, Strategy and Transactions to join our growing advisory team. You’ll work with experienced due diligence professionals on transactions involving private equity groups and strategic buyers, learning to analyze financial and operational data and contribute to deal valuation.

As you progress, you’ll lead project teams, develop client relationships and expand your technical accounting knowledge across advisory

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accountancy or Finance with 2–3 years of relevant experience.
• CPA license is advantageous.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to form conclusions.
• Strong presentation and report-writing skills.

Responsibilities

• Participate in financial due diligence engagements related to transactions involving private equity investor groups and strategic corporate buyers.
• Analyze the financial and operational results of businesses to be acquired or sold through reviewing accounting records and interviews with management.
• Work effectively as a team member within a wider cross-service line team.
• Prepare analyses of historical and pro forma financial information to assess trends and fluctuations affecting cash flow and deal valuation.
• Perform industry and company research utilizing online tools and publicly available information.
• Assist in researching technical accounting issues to evaluate implications on transaction valuation and structuring.
• Assist in preparing reports and schedules delivered to clients and other parties.
• Develop and maintain productive working relationships with client personnel.
