Job summary

Microchip Technology in the Philippines is seeking a Principal Test Engineering lead to head the Sustaining and Enhancement Test Engineering team. This hands-on leadership role requires mentoring a team of Test Engineers while staying active in day-to-day analog, power, and mixed-signal test work.

The ideal candidate has strong test engineering fundamentals, platform-agnostic experience with ATE environments, and the ability to ramp quickly on new systems while guiding a high-performing team

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronics/Computer Engineering or related field.
• Strong platform-agnostic expertise in Automated Test Equipment (ATE) engineering.
• Hands-on leadership with ability to mentor and develop Test Engineers.

Responsibilities

• Lead sustaining and enhancement test activities across multiple ATE platforms.
• Drive yield, throughput, and test coverage improvements; oversee debugging and ECO processes.
• Mentor engineers, set team objectives, and coordinate resources across projects.
• Collaborate across Test Operations, Product Engineering, Quality Assurance, and Manufacturing.
