Job summary

Adonai Services Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented software tester to support QA activities for web and mobile apps. You will analyze requirements, design and execute test cases, and maintain test artifacts to ensure quality across the product.

The role involves working in an Agile environment, writing clear defect reports, and collaborating with developers and product teams to drive fixes and improvements. ISTQB certification is a plus.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of SDLC and STLC and testing concepts.
• Ability to analyze requirements from BRD/FRD/User Stories.
• Experience writing test cases, scenarios and plans.
• Experience with defect reporting, tracking and verification.
• Familiar with Agile/Scrum and sprint ceremonies.
• Clear written and verbal communication; collaboration with teams.
• ISTQB Foundation Level certification.

Responsibilities

• Design and execute test cases and test scenarios from requirements.
• Maintain test plans and ensure coverage across web and mobile apps.
• Log defects clearly and track them to resolution; verify fixes.
• Collaborate with developers and product teams during sprints.
• Participate in sprint ceremonies and contribute to process improvements.

Testing Fundamentals Strong understanding of SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) & STLC (Software Testing Life Cycle) Knowledge of testing levels (unit, integration, system, UAT) Knowledge of testing types: Functional testing Regression, smoke, sanity Defect lifecycle, severity and priority Web and Mobile App (IOS and Android)

2. Test Design & Execution Ability to analyze requirements (BRD, FRD, User Stories) Writing and maintaining: Test cases Test scenarios Test plans

3. Defect Reporting & Tracking Writing clear, reproducible bug reports Experience with any of defect tracking tools: Jira Azure DevOps Bugzilla Verifying bug fixes and regression impact

4. Agile & Process Knowledge Agile/Scrum principles Working with: User stories Acceptance criteria Participation in sprint ceremonies
