Job summary

Hammerjack Pty Ltd in the Philippines is seeking an experienced QA tester with 5+ years of total experience and 3+ years in Life Insurance testing. The role requires excellent communication, strong MS Office skills, and exposure to API testing and digital platforms.

You will perform SIT and UAT, handle test planning, and coordinate defect resolution with the development team while reporting daily to the team lead and manager, in a dynamic shift-based environment.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal and written communication with internal and external customers.
• Experience on Life Insurance projects testing.
• Exposure to Digital Platform testing.
• Knowledge of defect management and test planning.

Responsibilities

• Follow phase-wise test design flow and maintain test assets.
• Perform Test Data Preparation, Execution, Defect Reporting and tracking.
• Find defects, track, and perform regression testing.
• Coordinate with development team to resolve defects.
• Provide daily status updates to TL and Manager.
• Work with APIs and Automation Tools; perform SIT & UAT.
• Maintain knowledge of Defect Management tools.
• Be flexible and able to work in a shift-based team.

Roles and Responsibilities (Daily tasks):

Following the phase wise flow in the test case design activity and maintaining the test assets.

Performing Testing activities like Test Data Preparation, Test Execution methods, Defect Reporting and tracking.

Finding Defects & tracking & Regression testing

Co-ordinate with the development team for resolving the raised defects

Daily status reporting to TL and Manager

Good experience to work with APIs and Automation Tools

Perform SIT & UAT

Knowledge of Defect Management tool

Flexible and Ability to work well in a team with shift
