Job summary

PT Arbeit Infotech Indonesia is seeking an Automation Test Engineer for the Insurance Domain in a hybrid Manila setup. The role requires 5–8 years of software testing with strong automation and API testing skills, plus経験 with QA tools and CI/CD pipelines.

Responsibilities include designing and maintaining automated tests, building testing frameworks, and ensuring quality across web, API, and backend services within an Insurance context. Local Philippines candidates preferred.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years of software testing with strong automation.
• Strong API testing experience using Postman, Rest Assured, SoapUI, or Karate.
• Experience with SQL and database validation.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Git, Maven, Jenkins, Azure DevOps.
• Experience using Jira, Zephyr, TestRail, or ALM.
• Minimum 2–3 years in the Insurance domain.
• Understanding of policy lifecycle, claims, underwriting, billing, and compliance.
• Experience with Guidewire, Duck Creek, Majesco is a plus.

• Design, develop, execute, and maintain automated test scripts for web, API, and backend applications.
• Build and enhance automation frameworks using Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, or similar tools.
• Automate functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing scenarios.
• Perform API testing using Postman, Rest Assured, Karate, or similar tools.
• Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines.
• Execute database validation and backend testing.
• Analyze test results, troubleshoot failures, and support defect resolution activities.
• Create and maintain test plans, test cases, test data, and test reports.
• Collaborate closely with Developers, Business Analysts, Product Owners, and Scrum teams.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and support release validation activities.
• Mentor junior QA team members and promote automation best practices.

Requirements

• 5–8 years of experience in Software Testing with strong Automation expertise
• Strong API testing experience using Postman, Rest Assured, SoapUI, or Karate
• Experience with SQL and database validation
• Familiarity with Git, Maven, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or similar CI/CD tools
• Experience using Jira, Zephyr, TestRail, ALM, or similar tools
• Minimum 2–3 years of experience in the Insurance domain
• Strong understanding of policy lifecycle, claims, underwriting, billing, and insurance compliance processes
• Experience with Guidewire, Duck Creek, Majesco, or similar insurance platforms is a plus

Preferred Qualifications

• ISTQB Certification or equivalent QA certification
• Experience with JMeter or other performance testing tools
• Exposure to AWS, Azure, or GCP
• Experience leading automation initiatives and mentoring QA teams
• Knowledge of DevOps and Continuous Testing practices
