Job summary

Testometer in Mumbai is seeking an experienced Life Insurance Tester to join our QA team. The role focuses on manual testing of Life Insurance applications, mobile apps, and related workflows, ensuring only high-quality releases.

You will analyze requirements, design and execute test cases, and collaborate with developers and business analysts to validate end-to-end processes. Immediate to 7 days notice preferred.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of experience in manual testing.
• Strong experience in Life Insurance domain.
• Hands-on experience with LifeAsia.
• Good experience in mobile application testing.
• Strong understanding of STLC and Defect Life Cycle.
• Experience in writing and executing test cases.
• Good analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Understand business requirements and functional specifications related to Life Insurance applications.

We are looking for an experienced Life Insurance Tester / Manual Tester with strong expertise in the Life Insurance domain. The ideal candidate should have hands‑on experience in Manual Testing, LifeAsia, and Mobile Application Testing.

The candidate will be responsible for understanding business requirements, preparing and executing test cases, identifying defects, and ensuring the quality and functionality of insurance applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Understand business requirements and functional specifications related to Life Insurance applications.
• Design, review, and execute manual test cases and test scenarios.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, and system testing.
• Identify, log, track, and retest defects using defect management tools.

Mandatory Skills & Requirements

• 2-5 years of experience in Manual Testing.
• Strong experience in the Life Insurance domain - Mandatory.

• Strong understanding of Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and Defect Life Cycle.
• Experience in writing and executing test cases and test scenarios.
• Good analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Preferred Candidate

• Candidates who can join immediately or within 7 days will be preferred.
• Candidates with strong experience in Life Insurance business processes and applications.
