Role objective The Senior Technical Lead serves as a bridge between system architecture and hands-on development, responsible for both designing technical solutions and guiding their implementation on our e.things cloud platform.
Working collaboratively with Software Architects and Product Management, you will translate business requirements into detailed technical designs while leading development teams through implementation.
Through a combination of architectural thinking and practical development expertise, you will ensure that complex features are delivered with both technical excellence and alignment to broader system design principles.

A typical day Review and refine technical designs for current development projects Engage in hands‑on development work on critical components or architectural prototypes Conduct code reviews with focus on both quality and architectural consistency Collaborate with Software Architects on design validation and technical approach refinement Provide technical guidance to team members on implementation challenges and design decisions
A typical week Lead technical design sessions for new features and system enhancements Participate in sprint planning and provide technical estimation and feasibility input Collaborate with Business Analysts and Product Management on upcoming requirements and technical trade-offs Mentor team members through design reviews and technical problem‑solving sessions Work with other Technical Leads and Software Architects on cross‑team technical initiatives
A typical month Facilitate technical design reviews with broader engineering team and architecture stakeholders Assess and recommend improvements to development practices and technical standards Participate in platform architecture discussions and contribute implementation perspective Lead technical debt assessment and refactoring initiatives within your domain Contribute to technical documentation and knowledge sharing across the organization
A typical quarter Participate in quarterly architectural planning sessions aligned with product roadmap Conduct comprehensive technical assessments of platform components and integration points Lead strategic technical initiatives that span multiple development cycles Participate in hiring processes and technical assessment of new team members Contribute to long‑term technical strategy through practical insights from development experience
Technical Skills & Qualifications Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Systems Engineering, or comparable experience Strong proficiency in system design principles and architectural patterns Expert‑level knowledge of our core technology stack with ability to make informed technology decisions Experience with technical documentation, system diagramming, and design communication tools Solid understanding of performance optimization, scalability patterns, and security best practices Knowledge of DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and production system monitoring
