Job summary

Adopisoft is hiring a software developer to contribute across the full software development lifecycle. You’ll work in a high-skill environment with opportunities to lead small teams, coach juniors, and perform code reviews.

The role emphasizes adopting the latest technologies while delivering robust solutions. Ideal candidates have 4+ years in software development, strong Node.js and TypeScript experience, and excellent Bisaya communication.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in software development, including 2 years in Node.js.
• Knowledge of best practices and clean coding principles (SOLID, KISS, DRY, YAGNI).
• Fundamentals of the web: HTTP, TLS/SSL, basic security, performance and optimization.
• Experience with databases like PostgreSQL, MySQL, Redis.
• Experience in TypeScript, Nest.js, AWS, Git workflows, CI/CD pipelines, and automated tests.
• Excellent Bisaya communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Participates in all phases of the software development lifecycle.
• Sometimes might lead a small team and act as a scrum master.
• Coaching and code reviews for junior developers (senior position).
• Stay on top of the latest technologies.
