Job summary

Adopisoft is hiring a software developer to join our team in Cebu. You will participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle and may lead a small scrum team while coaching junior developers.

The role requires strong Node.js experience, TypeScript and Nest.js proficiency, and familiarity with AWS, CI/CD, and automated testing. Excellent Bisaya communication is essential for collaboration with local teams.

Qualifications

• At least 4 years in software development, including 2 years in Node.js.
• Strong knowledge of web fundamentals, HTTP, TLS/SSL, and security best practices.
• Experience with TypeScript, Nest.js, AWS, Git workflows, CI/CD, and automated tests.
• Excellent Bisaya communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Participates in all phases of the software development lifecycle.
• Sometimes might lead a small team and act as a scrum master.

Qualifications

• Preferably at least 4 years of work experience in software development, including 2 years of recent experience in Node.js
• Knowing software development best practices, and clean coding principles(like SOLID, KISS, DRY, YAGNI) is a big plus.
• Knows fundamental of the web like the HTTP protocol, TSL/SSL, basic security best practices, performance, and optimization.
• Being comfortable using databases like Postgres, MySQL, Redis
• Experience in TypeScript, Nest.js, AWS, Git workflows, CI/CD pipelines, and automated tests is a plus as well
• Excellent Bisaya Communication skills
