Job summary

Procter & Gamble in Manila seeks an experienced technical leader to guide a Scrum team of frontend, backend, and data engineers. You will design and maintain data-driven web apps and reporting tools, optimize data integration to the data lake, and drive cost/performance improvements with a strong focus on data quality.

The ideal candidate brings hands-on expertise in Python, ReactJS, NextJS, and JavaScript, plus a solid DevOps mindset and excellent collaboration skills.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated leadership skills and team management.
• Advanced hands-on experience with frontend technologies: Python, ReactJS, NextJS, and JavaScript.
• Strong software development foundation including CI/CD, automated testing, and quality management.
• Strong data structures, data modeling, and system design foundation.
• Strong oral/written communication and collaboration skills.
• Meticulous attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and quality.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership to the Scrum team, including engineers and data scientists.
• Transform and optimize Software Engineering processes and practices.
• Design, build, and maintain data-driven web apps and reporting solutions.
• Implement data integration solutions, including publishing to the data lake.
• Optimize for cost and performance and ensure data quality.
• Support, monitor, and troubleshoot production systems.
• Collaborate with the Program Manager to define delivery timelines.
• Document architectures, processes, and standards.
