William Hill PLC in Manila is seeking a Senior Team Manager - Tax to lead the Indirect Tax Team in a hybrid work environment. You will oversee workflows, ensure accurate VAT and tax filings, and maintain controls to support COE Tax Lead.

This role demands strong tax expertise and leadership with stakeholder collaboration. The position requires a CPA or equivalent, 8+ years in tax including 2–3 in leadership, and experience with ERP systems like Oracle/SAP and tax software such as Avalara or Max

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy or Finance; CPA preferred.
• 8+ years of experience in a tax role, with at least 2–3 years in a leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of indirect tax, with experience in tax return preparations.
• Proficiency in ERP systems, particularly Oracle or SAP, and tax point solutions such as Avalara or Max Bill.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with senior stakeholders.

• Supervise the day-to-day execution of Gaming Tax and VAT compliance activities.
• Monitor completion of filings, reconciliations, and supporting documentation within deadlines.
• Ensure adherence to SOPs, controls, and compliance calendars.
• Review work for accuracy before submission to COE Tax Lead.
• Escalate technical issues, risks, and compliance concerns as needed.
• Manage workload distribution and prioritization to meet deadlines.
• Support tax audits and regulatory inquiries as required.
