Job summary

William Hill PLC, operating through evoke in Manila, seeks a Senior Team Manager - Tax to lead the Indirect Tax team. You will oversee gaming tax and VAT compliance, ensure deadlines, and coach a growing team to deliver accurate filings and strong governance.

You will collaborate with the COE Tax Tower Lead, drive process improvements, manage workload, and support audits. A CPA and 8+ years in tax are preferred, with a track record in SSC environments and ERP proficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field; CPA preferred.
• 8+ years of experience in a tax role with leadership experience.
• Strong knowledge of indirect tax and Philippine tax compliance, including BIR audits.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the day-to-day execution of Gaming Tax and VAT compliance activities.
• Monitor completion of filings, reconciliations, and supporting documentation within established deadlines.
• Ensure team adherence to SOPs, controls, and compliance calendars.
• Review work completed by team members to ensure accuracy before submission to COE Tax Lead.
• Escalate technical issues, risks, and potential compliance concerns to the Senior Tax Manager/Tower Lead.
• Manage workload distribution, resource planning, and prioritization of deliverables to meet deadlines.
