Job summary

TWA, Inc. is seeking a Tax Accountant in the Philippines with a Certified Public Accountant credential and at least three years of taxation experience. The role focuses on tax accounting, reporting, and planning to ensure compliance and optimize the company’s tax position.

The successful candidate will support auditors, prepare tax provisions, and review tax-related documents for financial statements, while researching new tax developments and opportunities for tax savings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's/College Degree in Accountancy is required.
• At least three (3) years of experience in Taxation.
• CPA certification required.

Responsibilities

• Tax Accounting and Reporting: Supports auditors with the execution of required activities; Prepares and documents financial statement tax provisions; Handles review and reconciliation of all tax analysis and returns; Monitors and documents support for Company's tax position; Review of tax-related documents relevant to the preparation of financial statements.
• Tax Planning: Performs research, reviews and disseminates information on new tax developments; Analyze and reviews tax impact of proposed company strategies; Seeks tax savings opportunities; Pro-active review and internal assessment of tax audit results and incoming tax regulations; Seeks and reviews solutions to queries of internal partners.
