Job summary

Bridge Data Centres Malaysia Sdn Bhd is seeking a Senior Manager for the Tax function to support its expanding Asian hyperscale footprint. The role is hands-on, execution-oriented, spanning tax operations, advisory and projects, and collaborates closely with Finance, Treasury, Legal, Corporate Development and external advisors.

The position leads transfer pricing, tax compliance, audits and tax incentive initiatives across jurisdictions, with oversight of external advisors and budgets.

Qualifications

• 8–10 years of tax experience, mix of Big 4 advisory and in-house.
• Transfer pricing experience with direct and indirect tax preferred.
• Ability to manage multiple live workstreams independently with minimal supervision.
• Degree in Accountancy, Law, or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Lead the group's transfer pricing strategy, policies and documentation across jurisdictions.
• Partner with Treasury to evaluate debt financing, shareholder funding, refinancing, and hedging.
• Manage direct and indirect tax compliance, including corporate income tax and GST returns.
• Lead tax audits, queries and investigations by tax authorities; prepare responses.
• Identify tax exposures and recommend remediation.
• Drive tax incentive applications, condition tracking and ongoing compliance.
• Monitor changes in tax law and assess impact on obligations.
• Drive process improvement and automation of tax compliance and reporting.
• Oversee tax projects including Pillar Two, restructuring and market entry.
• Manage external advisor scopes, budgets, timelines.
