Job summary

Aprio, a nationally ranked CPA and advisory firm, is hiring a Senior Tax Associate in the Philippines to join the Tax Team and support complex tax work for financial services clients.

You will prepare returns, research tax issues, respond to notices, and collaborate with managers and clients in a hybrid schedule (2 days onsite, 3 days WFH). CPA/EA a plus; MST preferred; 3–5 years’ experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting required; MST a plus.
• 3–5 years of progressive tax compliance experience for financial services clients.
• CPA license or EA designation a plus; strong research and writing skills.
• Experience with tax returns, notices, planning, and client communication.

Responsibilities

• Prepare complex tax returns for financial services clients (hedge funds, funds, etc.).
• Review workpapers, K-1s/K-3s, tax estimates, and related filings.
• Perform tax research and planning memorandum write-ups.
• Respond to IRS and other tax authorities; assist with notices.
• Utilize tax software to prepare and process returns; collaborate with team.
