Job summary

Aprio’s Tax team is seeking a Tax Associate to support clients with tax accounting, consulting and compliance engagements. Initial on-site period followed by a hybrid schedule with two days on-site and three days work-from-home. Work location options include Clark or Makati, Philippines. The role requires up to 2 years of public accounting exposure and strong writing skills.

Qualifications

• 0-2 years of public accounting experience; entry level possible
• Some exposure in the preparation of tax returns is ideal
• Degree in Accounting or related field is strongly preferred
• Exceptional writing skills; strong communication abilities

Responsibilities

• Apply strong technical tax accounting knowledge on consulting and compliance engagements
• Prepare tax returns (Forms 1065, 1120, 1120S, 1040)
• Will be preparing 1042 and 1042S filings during March and April in Gosystems RS and Avalara

Position responsibilities:

• Apply strong technical tax accounting knowledge on consulting and compliance client engagements
• Prepare tax returns (Forms 1065, 1120, 1120s, 1040)
• Will be preparing the 1042 and 1042S filings during March and April in Gosystems RS and Avalara.

Qualifications:

• 0-2 years of public accounting experience; will consider Entry level
• Some exposure in the preparation of tax returns is ideal
• Degree in Accounting or related field is strongly preferred
• Exceptional writing skills
• Strong accounting, analytical, technical, organizational, and multi-tasking skills
• Excellent presentation and communication abilities
• Willingness to travel on a very limited basis
• Willingness to travel on a limited basis
• Work Setup: Hybrid – Initial 2 months onsite, followed by a hybrid schedule of 2 days onsite and 3 days work-from-home per week. Work location is either at our Clark or Makati site.
• Amenable to work day shift starting from 6:30 AM-3:30 PM PHT
