Job summary

Aprio’s Philippines Tax Team seeks a Senior Tax Associate to join a nationally ranked CPA and advisory firm. You will handle complex tax engagements for hedge funds, private equity, and family offices while collaborating with a diverse team in a hybrid work setup.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years in tax compliance for financial services, strong research and writing skills, and a CPA or EA designation is a plus. Remote-friendly culture with first-month onsite presence required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting is required; MST/CPA a plus.
• 3-5 years of progressive tax compliance experience for financial services clients.
• CPA license or EA designation is a plus.
• Experience with partnership and HNW/family office tax entities.
• Strong research, writing and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare complex tax returns for hedge funds and investment managers.
• Prepare workpapers, K-1s/K-3s, estimates, and fund tax filings.
• Conduct tax research and draft planning memos and opinions.
• Assist with notices, payments, EIN forms, and W-9s/W-8s.
• Respond to IRS inquiries and collaborate with managers and clients.
• Use tax software to prepare and review returns.
