Nityo Infotech Philippines seeks a qualified CPA with solid Philippine tax practice experience to support advisory and compliance work in Makati. You will analyze tax issues, prepare analyses, and engage with clients and local authorities while collaborating with the team.

The role emphasizes strong communication skills, attention to regulatory details, and the ability to translate complex tax concepts into clear guidance for clients. This is a full-time, on-site position in Makati.

Qualifications

• Must be a CPA.
• Experience in Philippine tax practice – tax advisory and some tax advocacy work.

Responsabilités

• Builds an understanding of domestic tax concepts and undertakes studies to develop knowledge.
• Demonstrates knowledge of domestic tax legislation, case law and regulations by researching and applying to work.
• Prepares and reviews tax analyses and computations or returns relating to simple patterns.
• Uses local research, software and technology tools to produce accurate and comprehensive tax work.
• Applies tax risk management tools and procedures as appropriate to level and grade.
• Identifies potential planning opportunities in the local tax environment and escalates as needed.
• Complies with confidentiality and privacy policies of the firm and regulators.
• Keeps up-to-date technical knowledge by attending mandatory tax training and applying it to work.
• Discusses key issues with clients and tax authorities, and evaluates conflicting authorities.
• Interprets key tax sources to carry out and document tax compliance and advisory work.
• Evaluates facts to reach conclusions on moderate complexity tax issues.
• Applies changing tax law and regulations to client engagements and reflects them in work.
• Reviews junior staff work and discusses issues with manager/partner.
• Prepares complete, well-reasoned tax analyses.
