Arup’s Manila Energy team seeks a Technical Leader in Transmission & Distribution to guide complex projects, mentor engineers, and contribute to a sustainable pipeline of work. The role balances senior technical authority with market-facing responsibilities and collaboration across utilities and regulators.

Based in Manila, you will set technical direction, oversee governance, and support early client engagement, proposal development, and mobilization of delivery teams.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Systems Engineering, or a related discipline.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership for Transmission & Distribution within the Energy team, setting direction and governance.
• Support business development: client engagement, opportunity identification, and bid technical leadership.
• Lead and mentor engineers, while participating in complex, high-risk assignments as needed.
• Collaborate with utilities, regulators, and developers to articulate robust, integrated solutions.
