IT by Design Philippines Inc. in Taguig City is seeking an experienced Systems & Infrastructure Engineer to manage and optimize enterprise IT infrastructure, including servers, virtualization, storage, backups, and DR.

The role requires hands-on expertise and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues in an MSP/data center environment. The ideal candidate will work onsite daily in Bonifacio Global City, Taguig, with a willingness to nightshift as needed.

Qualifications

• Hands-on enterprise infrastructure engineering experience.
• Proven virtualization experience (VMware vSphere/ESXi or Hyper-V).
• Experience with physical servers, storage, and backup/recovery.
• Knowledge of monitoring, HA/DR, and capacity management.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex infra issues independently.
• Familiarity with PowerShell and automation; cloud platforms like Azure or AWS is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Manage, maintain, and troubleshoot enterprise server and infrastructure environments.
• Administer virtualization platforms, including VMware vSphere/ESXi and/or Hyper-V.
• Support physical server hardware, including Dell PowerEdge and HPE ProLiant.
• Manage enterprise storage solutions, including SAN, NAS, iSCSI, and Fibre Channel.
• Administer backup, recovery, high availability, and disaster recovery solutions.
• Perform infrastructure monitoring, performance tuning, capacity planning, and proactive maintenance.
• Execute firmware upgrades, hardware lifecycle management, and infrastructure changes.
• Investigate and resolve complex infrastructure incidents and perform root cause analysis.
• Support infrastructure automation, scripting, and hybrid cloud environments where applicable.
• Maintain technical documentation and follow incident, problem, and change management procedures.
