Job summary

The Depository Trust & Clearing Corporation (DTCC) is seeking a seasoned Systems Engineer to own the end-to-end maintenance of middleware, mainframe, and distributed platforms, with a focus on FIX, SWIFT, and Linux. You will ensure production stability, support development teams, and drive automation and documentation across the environment.

Ideal candidates bring 6+ years of FIX/SWIFT experience, strong Linux administration, and OpenShift know-how, along with the ability to work in a hybrid

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience with FIX and SWIFT.
• Strong knowledge of Broadridge Appia, Open-source QuickFIX, and SWIFT Alliance Access.
• 3 years’ experience with Red Hat OpenShift Container (OCP).
• Good knowledge of FIX protocol and FIX order flow.
• Good Linux and networking administration with scripting (Shell, Perl, Python).
• Amenable to working hours of 6am to 3pm Manila time.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, maintain, debugging and resolving FIX (Appia, TradeScope, QuickFIX) and SWIFT Alliance product implementations on Linux.
• Provide production support and troubleshooting for FIX/SWIFT/Linux.
• Provide immediate support for production Appia, QuickFIX and SWIFT Alliance implementations.
• Participate in weekend on-call rotations.
• Provide support for weekend implementations and Disaster Recovery tests.
• Create and maintain clearly detailed system documentation and diagrams to be used as job aids and knowledge transfer material.
• Analyze system performance and capacity statistics.
• Maintain, author and debug administrative utilities using shell programs (bash, perl).
• Conformance to DTCC Incident, Change and Problem management policies and procedures.
• Work with development staff and teammates to architect implementation and support solutions.
• Use of Jira, Bit Bucket, Ansible for project and software management.
• Work both independently and in a Team as an energetic team member.
• Lead, provide and implement automated solutions.
• Recommend process and technological changes.
• Aligns risk and control processes into day-to-day responsibilities to monitor and mitigate risk; escalates appropriately.
• Manage patching, upgrades and other various infrastructure operations on FIX and SWIFT servers.
• Effectively complete complex projects and installations within aggressive time frames and budget parameters.
